Why do the ingredients listed on the labels not sound natural ?
We have listed all of our ingredients on the back of each product. The ingredients are listed in their chemistry names to ensure compliance with all rules and regulations. A more understandable listing is available to anyone who wishes to receive one by e-mailing us and requesting same. This list will explain each ingredient, for example: Persea Gratissima = Avocado Oil, Cetgl Alchol = Solid Wax, of vegetable origin, Stonic Acid = Emulsifier, of vegetable origin.
How can the pre-mixed range of aromatherapy skin care products be used on all skin types ?
In the pre-mixed range I have blended a variety of oils, which are what we call Sebum balancers. This means that they have the power to stimulate the production of sebum on dry skin and the power to reduce its production on oily skin or do both on combination skin. Sebum is the oily substance we secrete through our skin.
How long will it be before I see a difference ?
Some customers have seen dramatic improvements in their skin within days, while others have found that it takes a little time for their skin to adjust to the products. I have had customers who have experienced what we call a healing crisis, that is, their skin can breakout - getting rid of toxins and impurities. A healing crisis is usually short-lived and will improve in a short period of time.
Do any of the products contain lanolin ?
No.
Are any of the products tested on animals ?
Again, No.
Do the products treat skin conditions ?
At Aromatherapie we make absolutely no medicinal claims and we never sell our products as a treatment for a medical skin condition. We have had reports from customers of improved conditions but we clearly state that we never make any medicinal claims.
How do I take care of the products to avoid spoiling ?
Due to the natural composition of these unique aromatherapy skin care products they require special care. To maintain optimum freshness please observe the following.
1. Store products away from direct sunlight.
2. Avoid bacterial introduction by ensuring hands are clean while handling products.
3. Air is the greatest threat to these products as overexposure causes oxidation so please replace lids immediately after use and always finish the jar once you have opened it.
Is there a special routine for best results ?
The instructions on how to apply all products is written on the back of each jar for your perusal. We also recommend the following skin care routine for best results.
Night:
1. Apply Cleanser to the face and neck. Allow to soak for a few minutes. At this time remove eye make-up with Eye Make-Up Remover Gel. Rinse off Cleanser with wet cotton wool (hot or cold).
2. Dampen cotton wool with Toner, clean skin again, wiping over eye area is allowed.
3. Apply Eye Cream with ring finger using tapping movement.
4. Apply Night Cream to face and neck.
Morning:
1. Cleanse (only on personal preference)
2. Toner
3. Eye Cream
4. Day Moisturiser
